Home insurance typically provides coverage for items within the premises of your residence, and once your belongings are stored elsewhere, such as in our My Vaults facilities, they fall outside the scope of your home insurance policy. Therefore, it becomes imperative to secure separate insurance for your stored items to ensure comprehensive protection beyond the confines of your home.
If I do not take out storage insurance, are my belongings protected?
To put it simply, if you choose not to obtain self-storage insurance through My Vaults or another provider, your belongings stored at our facilities won't be protected.
